The LVIV CHAMPIONS evening dedicated to the triumph of the Ruh Academy took place in Lviv at the Emily Event Hall. It was an event in honor of the achievements of Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy’s students and the Yellow and Black Academy in the 2025/26 season. This year, three Ruh teams at once – U-16, U-15 and U-14 – became the champions of the NLM Pro League, and the U-17 team finished the season with bronze medals.
The main symbol of the evening was the founder of the Ruh, Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy, who emphasized that the success of the Academy is the result of systematic work over many years.
“We created the Academy not only for victories and cups. Our main task is to educate strong personalities, true Ukrainians who will have the character of winners both on the field and in life,” emphasized Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy.
The Ruh Academy has confirmed its status as one of the strongest in Ukraine
The first to receive awards were Ruh U-17 players, the Academy’s graduating class. Hryhoriy Baranets’ team finished the season with bronze medals in the Pro League. Most of the players are expected to join the U-19 team in the near future.

Next, gold medals were awarded to the U-16 Ruh team led by Nazar Savytskyi. For the second time in a row, the team became the champion in its age category. Maksym Kozytskyi, the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, joined the award ceremony.
Contests for children and parents, as well as performances by the famous singer Positiff and singer Victoria Niro, added to the special atmosphere of the holiday.
Andriy Sadovyi awarded the champions of Ruh U-15
One of the most emotional moments of the evening was the awarding of the Ruh U-15 team. Borys Baranets’ team had an almost perfect season and secured the championship ahead of schedule. Ruh U-15 was awarded by Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi.

Hryhoriy Kozlovsky said: “When our young men demonstrate this level of football, it means that Lviv region has a strong sports future. We want Ruh to become an example of a modern Ukrainian club of the European level.”

The U-14 team’s success was no less resounding, as it immediately won the championship title in its debut season of the Pro League. The awards were presented to the young players by the club’s founder Hryhoriy Kozlovsky and FC Karpaty president Volodymyr Matkivsky.
The evening culminated in the presentation of the trophy for winning the overall standings of the NLM Pro League. The cup in the hands of Hryhoriy Kozlovsky symbolized the dominance of the Ruh Academy in Ukrainian children’s and youth football.
“We are not going to stop. We have new challenges ahead of us, including infrastructure development, the return of the U-19 championship and the entry of our students to the highest level of European football,” emphasized Hryhoriy Kozlovsky.
A new modern base in Vynnyky and ambitious plans for Ruh
Hryhoriy Kozlovsky said that the next season will be even more important for the Academy. Soon, Ruh’s pupils will get a new modern home in Vynnyky, which will allow the club to reach an even higher level of training for young players.

Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy is a Ukrainian businessman, philanthropist and founder of the Ruh football club and the Academy of the same name in Lviv.
