Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy and Ruh rewrite Ukrainian youth football: twice champions, one season

The season is not yet over, and the Academy of the Ruh Football Club already has two sets of gold medals of the NLM Pro League – Ruh U-16 and Ruh U-14 have won the championship titles ahead of schedule.

The founder of FC Ruh and the Academy, Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy, personally congratulated the young players on their outstanding achievements and shared his thoughts on the Academy’s success.

“Ruh U-16: the strongest Academy in Ukraine for the second year in a row

The boys’ team born in 2010 once again gained an advantage over their rivals. Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy emphasized that the team’s success is not limited to internal competitions: “For the second year in a row, the boys born in 2010 have become champions, confirming Ruh’s status as the top Academy in Ukraine. “Ruh U-16 pleased us not only with great results, but also with an interesting and mature game beyond their years.”

It is noteworthy that the level of these players is also evidenced by their performances at the UPL level – Oleg Dzyurinets became the youngest debutant in the club’s history. Eight representatives of the team of Nazar Savytskyi and Serhii Khyzhyi are going to the upcoming matches of the youth national team of Ukraine.

Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy highly appreciated the work of the students: “Gold awards, victories in international tournaments, successful duels with world-class players – all this proves once again that nothing is impossible for you! So we are working not only for the benefit of Ruh, but also for the benefit of the entire national football.”

As a result, in March of this year, Ruh U-16 made a loud statement in Germany, defeating their peers from Bayern Munich with a score of 2-0.

“U-14 Ruh: a tough start and a golden final

For the youngest champions, the boys born in 2012, the path to gold was not easy: the team made its debut at the national level and faced significant difficulties at the start of the season. However, coaches Andriy Dankiv and Ihor Duts managed to break the tide.

“These gold medals in the NLM Pro League are not only about successful results, but also about titanic work and fighting spirit. You have made a good start, and now you have to keep up the pace! Only daily work and self-improvement will make you professional football players,” Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy addressed the students.

New challenges ahead

The season is not over yet, and Ruh U-15 and Ruh U-17 have a chance to win medals for the Academy. Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy supported all the students and noted that regardless of the results, all the students are winners. He added that he believes in the boys, knows their capabilities and is rooting for each player.

The Academy of Ruh Football Club, founded by Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy, confidently confirms its status as a European-level talent pool, and this season has become another proof of that.
