For several weekends in a row, the ‘Ruh’ Football Academy was very crowded because the selection of future football stars was taking place. Boys from all over the country came to fight for the right to study at the Academy.

Today the selection ends, there will be a summary and soon it will be known whom of the participants of the selection will join the ‘yellow and black’ team.

Lviv philanthropist, a founder of the Academy and a president of ‘Ruh’ Hryhoriy Petrovych Kozlovskyy personally watched the competitions of young football players. He clearly adheres to the rule that “only the most talented guys should get into the Academy.” Which, by the way, was also confirmed by the father of the participant of the selection, declaring the complete absence of protectionism during the selection to the Academy: “You can get here ‘from the street’, everything depends only on your child’s abilities.”

This year, almost 300 young talents, who cannot imagine their life without football, competed for the opportunity to study at the Academy. It is worth noting that the competition was quite difficult and required considerable skills.

Academy coaches prepared four stations for selection and carefully monitored the process of their passage. The tasks were the same: speed, technique, dribbling and football – the components that are important for any young man who dreams of becoming a professional football player.

“We came with our son for the selection. The impressions are incredible. The attitude of the management and coaches of the Academy is beyond all praise. The scale of the Academy is impressive. I really liked the living conditions. I would like my son to join the yellow-black team,” said the father of the young football player Andriy.

Currently, tired but happy boys are waiting for the results of the competition.

And the fact that even despite the war our children have the opportunity to learn their favorite sport is very inspiring.

The founder of the Academy, Hryhoriy Petrovych Kozlovskyy, is convinced that after the victory, strong football players will be needed to represent Ukraine on the international stage in the future.

“We need strong football players, decent people, whom Ukrainians will be proud of. I am very glad that the ‘Ruh’ Football Academy is educating future stars who will be the pride of this country. The highest grace of a person is to enable other people to realise their dreams. Consider this my life’s mission,” Kozlovskyy noted.
