Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy, a well-known Lviv businessman and philanthropist, and the charitable organization Movement to the Future and FC Ruh have been keeping their finger on the pulse of the war for two years now, helping the Ukrainian military to destroy the enemy. During the two years of war, the Movement to the Future Charitable Organization has transferred more than 100 million to the needs of the Armed Forces and various military units. UAH.
Since the first days of the war, Hryhoriy Kozlovsky has been actively cooperating and constantly helping the 45th Separate Artillery Brigade. This is a rocketry and artillery unit of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, created in 2014 as part of the reserve corps stationed in Lviv region.
From the beginning of the war, the 45th Air Assault Brigade went to the front:
- equipment for wheel balancing,
- tire fitting,
- compressors,
- batteries for charging,
- tools,
- chopper hammers and more
- components for the Starlink system
- winter tires for trucks,
- drilling machine,
- climber’s equipment,
- hydraulic press,
- Poseidon drones
Other brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces received 50 generators, more than 2,000 sapper blades, hundreds of grinders, laptops, a minivan, 250 artillery tablets, multifunctional training complexes, 70 radios, and overhauls of 15 vehicles from Lviv philanthropist Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy.
“Today, everyone can contribute to helping the Ukrainian military. No matter how big or small your donation is, it will be valuable. It is very important for the soldiers who are now in the trenches in the east and south of Ukraine to know that here in the rear we are not sitting idly by, but are working to give our defenders more strength in the form of the equipment and machinery they need. By helping our soldiers, we are helping them to bring closer the day of our Victory over Russian evil!” said Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy.
As part of the Victory Birds initiative, Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy and his team handed over a package of aid worth UAH 4 million to the Ukrainian military, financing the purchase of drones. Border guards and reconnaissance men of the 103rd and 125th Brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the 24th Brigade named after King Danylo, the 80th Airborne Brigade of the Air Assault Forces, the 77th Separate Airborne Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the 7th Separate Airborne Brigade received drones of various types. In total, more than 1,000 drones were purchased under the Victory Birds initiative under the auspices of the Lviv Regional Military Association.
Since the first day of the full-scale invasion, Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy and the Ruh football club have been devoting all their efforts and resources to helping the Ukrainian army, rehabilitating soldiers, children and IDPs.
Together with the Movement to the Future charitable organization, the company purchased a neuroanesthesia and respiratory apparatus and a neurosurgical microscope, vital devices worth UAH 4 million, for the Lviv military hospital.
Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy and his “football family” supported another important project for the rehabilitation of Ukrainian soldiers – the “Above All” initiative, which was launched at the FC Ruh Academy and the Emily Resort complex in Vynnyky. The aim of the initiative was to treat and rehabilitate wounded Ukrainian soldiers and civilians. The help of rehabilitation specialists and doctors has already been provided to 54 Ukrainians.
And in the new year of 2024, the philanthropist and his sports and recreation complex Emily Resort transferred UAH 2 million for prosthetics to the Superhumans Center. Military and civilians affected by the war will be able to receive quality care at the state-of-the-art rehabilitation and prosthetics center for war victims, which operates with the support of First Lady Olena Zelenska and Minister of Health Viktor Liashko.
The philanthropist does not forget about children. On St. Nicholas Day, Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy, together with the Emily Resort sports and recreation complex and FC Ruh, organized a holiday weekend for displaced children and children of fallen Heroes. The kids went on an excursion to the fabulous Winterville winter entertainment town, the Park of Giants, visited Emily Zoo, visited the Ruh Academy, where they saw how the young pupils of the Yellow and Blacks train and live, and played with the club’s mascot, Ruhman.
In addition, all the money raised from the New Year’s Eve celebration at Emily Resort, UAH 4 million, was donated by Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy and the sports and recreation complex to the needs of the military.
“People’s fatigue from the war is very noticeable now. It’s hard for everyone, but we can’t get used to it, and to do so, we need to support our army and help our military, so each of us must join in to bring our victory over the enemy closer. Don’t be indifferent, help the Armed Forces of Ukraine!”, – said Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy.
