Millions from Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy: philanthropist continues systemic support of Ukrainian hospitals

The well-known Ukrainian philanthropist and founder of FC Ruh, Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy, continues to provide systematic support to the medical system of Ukraine. Another significant step was the transfer of UAH 4 million for the needs of St. Panteleimon Hospital of the First Territorial Medical Association of Lviv. These funds will be used to purchase modern diagnostic equipment that will help save patients’ lives.

Critical equipment to save lives

Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy explained that the assistance to St. Panteleimon’s Hospital is part of the systemic support for medical professionals in Lviv Oblast. With the allocated funds, the medical institution will be able to purchase an expert-class video system based on the ERK-i5000 video processor with a video gastroscope and a video colonoscope. This equipment is extremely important for the quality diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of gastrointestinal diseases.

Doctors emphasize that the high image quality provided by this video system makes it possible to diagnose tumors at early stages of their development and to remove them endoscopically, which significantly improves the prognosis for patients.

In addition, the equipment allows for screening examinations to prevent cancer and provide emergency care to patients with gastrointestinal bleeding. It is noted that up to 95% of such bleeding can be stopped endoscopically with the use of additional devices. This avoids complicated laparotomy operations, which is much better and less traumatic for the patient, and greatly facilitates the work of surgeons.

Systemic support for medical institutions in Lviv and Ukraine

Commenting on the next tranche of aid, Mr. Kozlovskyy said:

“We continue to support the healthcare system of Lviv region. This time, we responded to the needs of St. Panteleimon Hospital of the First Territorial Medical Association of Lviv and transferred UAH 4 million to the institution. “It is important to facilitate the work of our doctors, as they are the guarantor of the health of Ukrainians. This is not the first and not the last time we have cooperated with various medical institutions, because investing in medicine is investing in our future.”

It is worth emphasizing that support for the medical sector is a priority for Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy and his team. Earlier, the philanthropist’s family and the Emily Resort team have already donated UAH 2 million to the Yuriy Lypa Lviv Regional Hospital for War Veterans and Repressed in order to purchase equipment and furniture for the creation of a blood bank, as well as another UAH 1 million for renovations in the hospital’s premises.

Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy and the Emily Resort team also contributed to strengthening the capabilities of the Unbroken Center in Lviv by donating UAH 2 million for the purchase of modern cardiac surgery equipment. Thanks to this assistance, the Center was able to perform minimally invasive heart surgery for military and civilians affected by Russian aggression.

Last year,Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy and Emily Resort promptly responded to the tragic events by transferring UAH 2 million to help the Kyiv Children’s Hospital Okhmatdyt, which was damaged by Russian missile fire.

Contribution to the health of the nation and the future of Ukraine

Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy noted that it is important to prove support and facilitate the work of doctors with your deeds:

“We are proving our faith in Ukraine not with words but with deeds,” the philanthropist emphasized. “Our help is our contribution to the nation’s health, and tomorrow’s help will be used to rebuild it. We work, we help, we believe!”
