Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy, the former president of the Lviv club “Rukh”, a well-known businessman and philanthropist, was awarded the “Valor and Honour” award.
This is stated on the official page of FC “Rukh”.

The award was presented to the businessman by representatives of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the eve of the match of the last round of the charity championship of the League of Football Veterans of Lviv Oblast. The tournament was organised in support of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and the Lviv football club, managed by Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy, became the competition’s leaders ahead of schedule – one round before the end of the championship.

“Our big goal is to drive the enemy out of Ukraine, get help and achieve sustainable peace for future generations. As long as our defenders successfully fight for our freedom and independence, we support and help them. The award received symbolises faith in our freedom and independence, which no one can take away from us. This is an award for each of us,” said Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy upon receiving the award.

Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy and the “Rukh” football club have been helping the Ukrainian army and forced migrants since the war’s first days and received honours and awards from military units for their help. In particular, in May, the Lviv philanthropist was awarded the highest military award for civilians – the “Badge of Honour” for his significant contribution and assistance to the Armed Forces. In July, Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy and the charity organisation “Movement to the Future” donated 4 million UAH worth of medical equipment to the Lviv military hospital. In August, the philanthropist handed over military equipment to two Lviv brigades and paid 500 stoves for the needs of the front. In September, Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy was once again honoured with several military awards.
