The founder of the Rukh football club, a well-known Lviv businessman and philanthropist, Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy, was awarded the Golden Lion by the commander of the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade, Ivan Holishevsky. Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy received this award for his significant assistance to the Ukrainian armed forces through the Birds of Victory charity project. The award was presented to Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy by the co-founders of Victory Birds, Ihor Dulin and Oleksandr Tishchenko. According to Ihor Dulin, Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy provides the project not only with financial but also with organizational support, which allows for successful charity auctions. To date, 43 auctions have already been held, with over a thousand lots sold. 
“Hryhoriy Kozlovsky has donated UAH 4 million to the Victory Birds initiative, which is a significant contribution to our cause.
Thanks to philanthropists like him, we deliver 1000 unmanned aerial vehicles to the frontline every month,” said Oleksandr Tishchenko.
In response to the award, Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy thanked for the appreciation of his contribution and called on the public to support the charity auction to be held on August 22. On the same day, the 10,000th drone will be delivered to the Ukrainian military.
“These awards, although symbolic, are very important to us. They remind us that the support of our defenders is extremely valuable. We will continue to make every effort to bring victory closer. I urge everyone to join the charity auction on August 22 and support our initiative,” emphasized Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy.
Earlier, Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy and FC Ruh joined the collection of FPV drones for the Shkval rapid response border guard commandant of the 7th border guard detachment. In November, they organized a charity football match with the participation of stars under the slogan “We believe in the Armed Forces of Ukraine”. The funds raised during the match allowed them to purchase thermal underwear for the military. This assistance was provided to the soldiers of the 5th separate assault regiment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the 24th separate mechanized brigade named after King Danylo, the 125th separate territorial defense brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as to units operating in Bakhmut.
