Dear fans! On behalf of myself and the entire Yellow and Black family, I wish you a happy new year! “Ruh is grateful for the support of each of its fans – for being with us both during the bright victories and the painful defeats.

In all senses, 2023 was a difficult year for every Ukrainian: the liberation of Ukrainian lands from Russian occupiers continued, peaceful cities were shelled by the aggressor, and there was not a single family in Ukraine that did not suffer in one way or another because of the perverted ambitions of the Muscovite dictator and his supporters. But even in the darkest of times, we found bright moments and proved once again how unbreakable the Ukrainian nation is!

2023 was a historic year for the Movement. In particular, the Yellow and Black juniors performed brilliantly in their debut season in the UEFA Youth League and made it to the 1/16 finals against Italian Inter, and fought to the last against another European giant, Milan. And even despite the defeat by the Rossoneri, the boys demonstrated their character and their best football skills. Later, they confirmed their success in the domestic arena by winning the Ukrainian U-19 Championship for the second time in a row.

Meanwhile, the first team has embarked on a path of rejuvenation, and it has paid off! Although 2023 began with a tough struggle for survival in the UPL, which was crowned with success, the yellow and blacks are now showing perhaps the best results in their young history. Yesterday’s juniors are already the backbone of the team today. These young people get results and impress fans and experts with their play. I am grateful to Vitaliy Ponomarev, his coaching staff, players, club management and all members of the yellow and black family for the titanic work they have done over the year to take Ruh to a new level. And, of course, I am grateful to every Ruh member for this progress and dedication both on the football field and in the work process. Each of us is looking forward to the resumption of UPL matches and the continuation of this bright game performed by our players.

The pupils of the Ruh Academy are pleased with their results and play, winning both in the domestic arena in local and national competitions and representing the club and Ukraine in international matches and tournaments. “Ruh will continue the chosen vector of trust in our youth and will make every effort to ensure that the boys grow up and show their best football and human qualities. At the same time, our students were able to test themselves at a professional level, as Ruh-2 made its debut in the Second League. Thus, with the help of experienced partners, the young men of the Yellow and Black can get one step closer to their goal of playing at a high level and gaining invaluable experience.

I believe that 2024 will be a successful year for both the Movement and the whole of Ukraine! Each of us must unite around our Heroes – the military who are defending the country from the occupiers. We are obliged to help our defenders and support them in every way possible! At the same time, Ruh will continue to respond to the military’s requests and provide them with everything they need, as it has been doing since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Every month we are improving this process, while donations and various other assistance from each of us brings the Victory over the occupiers closer!

I would like to wish our fans and all Ukrainians health, strength, inspiration and passion. May there be love, prosperity, and harmony in every home, and may the sky above you always be clear and peaceful! We hope that already in 2024 we will be able to meet safely in the stadium stands and watch the victories of the Movement! But the most important thing is that Ukraine continues to follow its chosen European path, liberates its lands from the occupiers and defeats the aggressor, restoring justice and peace in our country!
