On June 29, 2024, Dynamo Lviv, one of the most famous waterpolo clubs in Ukraine, celebrated its 75th anniversary. This significant anniversary has become a real celebration for everyone involved in the team’s glorious history.

Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy, Honorary President of FC Ruh Lviv, emphasized the huge path Dynamo has traveled over 75 years and expressed his faith in its future, as people here live “with their hearts to develop and increase the team’s glory.”

The anniversary celebrations included an interactive and printed photo exhibition that immersed everyone in Dynamo’s past and demonstrated significant moments in its history. The exhibition of trophies won by the club over 75 years was a testament to the team’s indomitable spirit and relentless thirst for victory, and the redemption of the stamp developed by the club together with Ukrposhta to mark the 75th anniversary was a symbolic act that confirmed Dynamo’s importance for Ukrainian sports.

Oleksandr Svishchov, President of the Ukrainian Water Polo Federation and Honorary President of WC Dynamo Lviv, shared the significant achievements of the club over the years of his presidency: 7 championship titles, 8 Ukrainian Cups, 3 Super Cups of Ukraine, as well as leadership in the Super League in the 2023/2024 season and 7 consecutive Cup titles. He thanked all generations of Dynamo for their contribution and expressed his belief that the current players will glorify the club both in Ukraine and internationally.

During the celebrations, Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy and Oleksandr Svishchov recalled the glorious path of Dynamo, noted its contribution to the development of Ukrainian water polo and expressed their gratitude to veterans, coaches and players of different generations.

This celebration was another proof that Dynamo Lviv is not just a sports club, but a true legend of Ukrainian water polo that has been inspiring and uniting people for 75 years.

It is important to emphasize that Hryhoriy Kozlovsky and Oleksandr Svishchov are not only respected businessmen, but also sincere sports fans who actively contribute to the development of Dynamo and Ukrainian sports in general.
