Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy and FC Ruh supported Ukrainian gymnasts. They won gold medals in China

The Ruh Football Club and its founder, Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy, set themselves ambitious goals for the active development of various areas of sports training and cordially invite athletes of various disciplines to join their sports community. Since the fall of 2022, the Emily Resort sports complex has been organizing training sessions for rhythmic gymnasts who recently returned from China and brought impressive results from the World Summer Universiade.

For example, Khrystyna Pohranichna, Master of Sports in Rhythmic Gymnastics and a finalist at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, achieved incredible success, winning three medals: first place in the individual ribbon exercise, first place in the individual hoop exercise, and a silver medal in the individual all-around.

According to Khrystyna Pohranichna herself: “We have been preparing for this competition for a very long time, because it was a special year for us. We started training back in the winter and had the opportunity to train at the Emily Sports Complex, which has ideal conditions for gymnasts. In Lviv, and in Ukraine in general, there are few places like this where you can properly prepare. We also had to face organizational difficulties, including obtaining visas, and there was a threat of not even getting to the tournament. On the way to China, we experienced difficulties due to acclimatization and the difference in time zones. But finally, we were able to show impressive results and were happy for that.”

The gymnastics team also won silver medals in the group all-around competition, where Marta Borys and Anastasia Ptashnyk performed. In addition, the girls received bronze awards for exercises with five hoops.

According to Iryna Rudaya, Honored Coach of Ukraine in Rhythmic Gymnastics, these girls have been training for over six months at the Emily Resort sports complex in preparation for the World Summer Universiade. She also noted that this process was extremely difficult due to internal and external factors such as the war in Ukraine and stress. However, the gymnasts coped with all the difficulties and demonstrated an excellent result, representing Ukraine on the international stage.

The Ruh Football Club actively promotes the development of the sports movement in the region and provides opportunities for athletes to practice their discipline at both professional and amateur levels. The club’s CEO, Igor Dedyshyn, emphasized the importance of creating favorable conditions for various sports and noted that the club is always ready to cooperate with representatives of other disciplines.
