Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy along with the yellow-black team, financed the purchase of 180 drones totalling 4 million hryvnias, as part of the ‘Birds of Victory’ initiative.
The Ruh football club and its founder Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy are once again supporting the Ukrainian military. The charitable organization ‘Ruh into the Future’ joined the ‘Birds of Victory’ project, which is supported by the Lviv Regional Military Administration. The organization has sent various types of drones to defenders on the front lines.

“Our goal was to provide the military with 1000 drones through the ‘Birds of Victory’ initiative. In less than five months, we managed to deliver 1154 drones to our defenders. But we won’t stop there; we will do everything possible to deliver even more ‘birds’ to the front line. They will save the lives of the Ukrainian soldiers and harm the occupiers. Sincere thanks to everyone who joined this initiative. Together we are strong, and Victory will be on our side!” – emphasized Maksym Kozytskyi, the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration.

This assistance is directed to the military personnel of the 103rd and 125th Territorial Defence Brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after King Danylo, the 80th Separate Air Assault Brigade, the 77th Separate Airmobile Brigade and the 7th Assault Brigade, as well as border guards and reconnaissance units. The military received the following equipment:
- 240 FPV drones (combat);
- 31 Mavic reconnaissance drones and 1 MATRICE 30T;
- anti-drone gun.
The football club Ruh also made a contribution by purchasing 180 drones for the total amount of approximately 4 million hryvnias.

“We regularly send necessary equipment to our soldiers. For us, the club and its founder Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy, it is a great honor to join the ‘Birds of Victory’ project. It symbolizes the unity of our community, through which we effectively achieve our goals. The participants of the initiative may be strangers to each other, but our collective effort helps the country’s defenders. The number of drones delivered does not matter. The main thing is the implementation of the initiative”, shared Ihor Dedyshyn, general director of FC Ruh.
He also added that the charitable organization ‘Ruh into the Future’ maintains direct contact with military units, other charitable foundations and volunteer organizations. The club strives to provide assistance within its capabilities, and this support will continue and expand.
“These drones immediately fall into the hands of the military. They are received directly by the soldiers on the front line who protect our country. Many partners, including FC Ruh, helped us. ‘Birds of Victory’ is a significant initiative that brought together many people. We are glad to join it. At ‘Halytska Svizhyna’s’ our contribution to the project amounts to more than 400,000 hryvnias. These are ‘eyes’ for our soldiers and an opportunity to strike the enemy. However, this is just the beginning and we will continue to support and develop this initiative. We have worked, we are working and we will continue to work for victory! This is extremely important, as our support is essential for our military,” stated Taras Lysiy, founder of the ‘Halytska Svizhyna’ company.
The military is sincerely grateful for this assistance, as drones are crucially needed on the front line. They can help save the lives of the military and effectively strike the enemy.
“Those who have access to additional information and can observe from the air, control the situation. Currently, these ‘birds’ saved the infantry lives. Drones also destroy enemy military equipment, that complicates troop movement. They play an indispensable role on the battlefield. One FPV drone costs around 20,000 hryvnias, but it can destroy enemy military equipment worth millions. These drones are very important for us in large quantities,” said Roman Chornobai, commander of the 2nd Assault Battalion of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade, known under the pseudonym ‘Babai’.
