Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy and FC Ruh donated UAH 3.7 million to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. These funds were used to purchase equipment and vehicles that will be delivered to the Zakhid military industrial complex.
The likelihood that Ukrainians will face another blackout in the fall is very high. However, taking into account last year’s experience and the assistance received by Ukrainian soldiers, it will be easier to prepare for possible enemy attacks. Thus, the charitable organization “Foundation for Aid to Ukraine “Movement to the Future” and its founder, a well-known Lviv philanthropist and businessman Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy, made a significant contribution to the fight against the enemy by financing an aid package for Ukrainian defenders. These funds were used to purchase thermal imagers, night vision devices, vehicles and equipment for them, laser pointers, sights, etc. The purchased items will help the military defend the region from enemy attacks on critical infrastructure during the heating season.

Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy noted: “The main task before the winter and the heating season is to strengthen the defense capability of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. We already know the enemy’s cunning and that its main goal is to destroy our energy facilities during the heating season, the energy and fuel sector as a whole, as well as strategic state facilities and critical infrastructure. Today, our soldiers need our help more than ever, as they have to use everything that can destroy air targets. Therefore, the Ruh members aim to strengthen Ukrainian defenders with the necessary equipment and machinery.
The previous winter showed that prolonged power outages cause a lot of inconvenience and significantly impair the quality of everyday life. That is why the protection of critical infrastructure in time of war is extremely important, and therefore, helping our defenders is also important.”
Taras Gren, advisor to the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, said that the Zakhid military industrial complex had compiled a list of necessary equipment and gear, and that Ruh FC and its founder, Hryhoriy Kozlovsky, paid for some of the equipment and gear by transferring funds.
Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy said that FC Ruh and the charitable organization Movement to the Future Foundation for Assistance to Ukraine responded to the initiative of the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration Maksym Kozytskyi and the acting head of the Lviv Regional Council Yuriy Kholod to create a tactical air defense system, similar to the Iron Dome system in Israel, to protect Lviv and the region from the Shahed.
This is not the first and not the last time our soldiers have received help from the Yellow and Black team. Recently, Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy and FC Ruh joined a charity football tournament to honor border guards. The purpose of this event was to raise funds for drones for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. A series of tournaments and a charity auction raised over UAH 300 thousand for drones for the military.
“The war is not over yet, so we need to continue to help the Armed Forces,” said Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy, a well-known Lviv businessman and philanthropist, founder of Ruh football club.
