“The Yellow and Blacks topped the ranking of the youngest teams in more than 60 leagues around the world, where players under 21 have a lot of playing time.

Ruh’s average score was 52.4%, which means that players under 23 spent 65.5% of their playing time on the field, under 22 – 55.4%, under 20 – 17.5%, and under 19 – 0.4%.

Lviv’s Ruh topped the ranking of the youngest teams with a score of 52.4%. The Slovakian team Zilina took second place with 44.5, and the Austrian Red Bull from Salzburg rounded out the top three with 42.7. Also in the top 5 are Dutch clubs Volendam and Ajax.

“It is important to note that Ruh is not just the youngest team in the world, but also a team that shows good results. In the 2023/24 season, Ruh tookfifth place in the Ukrainian Premier League and is now fighting to qualify for European competitions. This proves that Ruh’s young talents are capable of not only playing a lot, but also showing quality football,” – said Hryhoriy Kozlovsky.
