At a time when Ukrainian football is going through difficult times, a loud statement about its future was made in Munich. FC Ruh’s U-16 team won a confident victory over one of the strongest academies in Europe, Bayern Munich, beating the Munich team 2-0.
But the main thing in this story is not only the result, but the systematic work that Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy is building, turning the Ruh Academy into one of the most dynamic football centers in Ukraine.
A victory that says more than a score
The sparring match in Munich was a serious test for the Yellow and Blacks. The opponent fielded not only players born in 2010, but also several players of the older age category.

However, the team led by Nazar Savytskyi showed mature football: Ilya Bodak opened the scoring after a spectacular combination, and Artem Fedushko doubled the lead with a long-range shot.
“Bayern managed to score only once, but the goal was disallowed due to offside. The result was 2-0 in favor of the Ukrainians.

This victory was not a coincidence, but a confirmation of the systemic growth of the Ruh Academy headed by Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy, which is increasingly making itself known internationally.
Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy: “This is not just a match – it’s about the DNA of Ukrainians”
A special emphasis during the trip was placed on Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy, who personally accompanied the team.

Before the game, the young players visited Stepan Bandera’s grave in Munich, a symbolic moment that, according to Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy, had a deeper meaning than just a tour:
“This is not a tourist trip. This is where the roots of Ukraine lie. You have to feel that you are part of a great independent country… To show the world who Ukrainians are.”
This step emphasizes the philosophy of the club’s development, which is to educate not only football players but also conscious citizens.
Munich as a growth point
The trip to Munich was more than just a match for Ruh. The team sparred with the top academy in Europe, visited Bayern’s infrastructure, and attended a Champions League match at the Allianz Arena.

This experience allowed us to compare the level of training and understand the direction of development. According to Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy, some elements seen in Germany will soon be implemented in Lviv.
The Ruh Academy is one of the most dynamic projects
Today, the Movement Academy is making steady progress:
- regular international matches
- modern approach to training
- emphasis on an intense, European style of play
The victory over Bayern only confirmed the correctness of the chosen course.
“This shows that Ukrainian football has a future. The stars are growing, and I am glad that the academy is working well,” emphasized Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy.
A symbolic signal to Europe
The triumph in Munich is not just the result of a youth sparring match. It is a signal that even in difficult conditions, Ukrainian football is able to develop, compete and win.
People who invest in the future, such as Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy, play a key role in this.
