The pupils of the Ruh Academy born in 2010 made a triumphant return after winning the final of the Children’s and Youth Football League (CYFL) Winter Cup. The young “yellow and black” players confidently defeated their older rivals from the U-16 Left Bank, defeating them 3-0 in the final match in Kyiv.
The founder of Ruh, Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy, personally led the solemn meeting of the champions, organizing a traditional champion’s corridor together with the club’s management and employees. After the presentation of the trophy, the young winners celebrated their success with a specially prepared championship cake.
“Defending the title is a testament to the formation of club traditions,” emphasized Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy. “Moreover, this year’s victory is especially valuable because it was won by the students who are a year younger than their predecessors. We have extremely powerful teams born in 2008, 2009 and 2010. I am sure that the Ruh Academy has just started its way to recognition in the football world.”

Kozlovsky explained in detail the philosophy of the club’s development: “For me, Ruh is primarily an Academy. We have created the first team for our students so that they can fully develop and reach the top of the football Olympus. Our priority is to provide talented young players with a path to the first team, regardless of their age. It’s only a matter of time before a 15-year-old debutant makes his first-team debut.”
“We value not only the results but also the quality of the game,” emphasized the club’s founder. “The main thing is that children develop interesting, attractive football and enjoy the game themselves. When I watched the final, I was incredibly pleased with their skills. These young talents are the future of our first team.”
Volodymyr Bezubiak, Director of the Ruh Academy, noted the exceptional nature of the achievement: “The U-15 team and coaching staff of Ruh showed highly professional work and a unique result. In the decisive stages of the competition, our boys won a landslide victory, which is impressive in its stability. Our goal is not only to bring up champions for the club, but also to train personnel for the national teams of Ukraine of all ages.”
