In the final of the tournament, the Yellow and Blacks defeated the Lviv team 2-1. The competition was attended by 10 teams from the Ruh Academy. The event, timed to coincide with Father’s Day, took place in June in Vynnyky at the Bohdan Markevych Stadium. It was organized by the charitable foundations House of Mercy and Movement into the Future, as well as the Ruh football club and the St. John Bosco Youth Center.
International work
Participants of the first training and sports camp organized by the Movement to the Future charitable foundation had the opportunity to visit Finland. This gathering for schoolchildren aged 7 to 15 was aimed at broadening their horizons and supporting those who have temporarily moved from areas of Ukraine affected by the war or those whose parents serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The children, together with their mothers, sisters and grandmothers, lived at the Guittinen College of Western Finland, located near Helsinki. Here, they not only improved their English language skills under the guidance of university professors, but also went in for sports under the supervision of professional coaches and studied Scandinavian culture.

The project was implemented thanks to the support of the City of Guittinen, the Ukrainian-Polish Foundation IIASC, and the Movement to the Future Charitable Foundation. Representatives of the latter, Oleh Shpur and Pavlo Pron, met with the mayor of Guittinen, Jyrki Peltomaa, and signed a memorandum of cooperation between the Movement for the Future Foundation and the Guittinen administration. The agreement provided for more than 1,000 Ukrainian children to attend charity sports camps in Finland during 2022, as well as the organization of joint charity events to raise funds to support Ukraine. The city of Guittinen also promised to help find partners in Finland to support Ukrainian children, organize visits by Ukrainian and Finnish football teams, including the Ruh Academy, and organize a charity tour of Ruh children across Finland to raise funds for refugee children.
The Movement for the Future charitable organization also signed a cooperation agreement with the Help Ukraine Foundation to join forces and provide even more support to Ukraine. Oleg Shpur and Oleksiy Kuznetsov signed this document. The main area of cooperation between the foundations is the organization of vacations for Ukrainian children in European countries to exchange experience and cultural values.
Summarizing the year, Wirtualna Polska delivered 83 oil heaters to Ukrainian defenders. These devices, which provide efficient heating of premises, were a great contribution to the defense of Ukraine. Earlier, the Poles handed over 26 generators to the front line and various military units. Polish friends have long supported the charitable organization Movement to the Future, actively contributing to its work.
HUMANITARIAN AID
Last spring, the charity organization Movement to the Future organized an Easter egg painting workshop for children from Kharkiv and Melitopol who had taken refuge in the Vynnyky boarding school during the war. Iryna Kmet, a pysanky artist, told the children about the symbolism of Easter eggs and taught them the technique of egg painting using pysanky, wax and dyes. Even those children who had no previous experience in painting Easter eggs were very enthusiastic about this activity.

Since the beginning of the war, buses provided by the Ruh football club have been used for dozens of humanitarian aid runs on the Lviv-Kyiv route. Drivers and volunteers transported medicines, food and even animal feed to different regions of Ukraine. In addition, the buses were used to evacuate children, women and the elderly from the hot spots. Since mid-March, the Foundation’s evacuation flights have been heading further east, in particular to Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
The children who were forced to leave their homes because of the war were given the opportunity to get acquainted with the infrastructure of the “yellow-black” forces. Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy of the Ruh club gave them club merchandise and Atletico Madrid uniforms. The children also took part in a football master class taught by professional coaches of the Ruh Academy.

2023: Continued Assistance for the 45th Artillery Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces
In 2023, the 45th Separate Artillery Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine continues to receive significant assistance from the Ruh football club and philanthropist Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy. This time, three mobile KUNG containers (Unified Zero-Gauge Body or Unified Sealed Body) with all the necessary equipment were delivered to the front line and are now being used by the military. Each KUNG was comfortably equipped, including stoves, furniture, bunks and other necessary equipment. It’s hard to find such mobile containers, so each one was carefully repaired at a local company and equipped within a week.

In addition, the Ruh football club provided a set of equipment for a mobile bath and laundry complex and heating points, including boilers, washing and drying machines, taps, pipes, sinks and OSB boards. FC Ruh CEO Ihor Dedyshyn emphasized that every request from the military has an immediate response from the club and Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy, and they are always ready to help the Ukrainian army.

In March, Ruh’s charity event took place at the Emily Sport Arena, where it raised over 550 thousand hryvnias. Also, Polish friends helped with a donation of 1 million hryvnias to purchase R-18 attack drones and generators for the 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade “Magura.”

A few days later, Ruh handed over 7 DJI Mavic 3 quadcopters to the 45th Brigade, which can be used for both photography and real-time video recording. The Ukrainian military also received metal detectors, office equipment and stationery.

Overall, this unquestioning support from Ruh Football Club and Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy demonstrates an unwavering commitment to helping and protecting Ukrainian soldiers on the front line.
The drones supplied by Ruh to the 45th Brigade are of the airplane type and comprise two complete systems with two control centers. The manufacturer of these drones is a Ukrainian company. A special feature of the Mara is their low weight, approximately 2.5 kilograms, and the ability to be launched directly from the operator’s hands without the need for additional equipment. The entire complex, including aircraft, antennas and other equipment, can be easily transported in a bag that does not exceed 20 kilograms. Mara operators can quickly deploy, deploy the system and launch drones to obtain information about enemy positions, equipment and the location of enemy troops in the rear. This significantly expands intelligence capabilities and, accordingly, allows us to neutralize the enemy at a distance of 30-40 kilometers from the front line.
In early May, the Ruh football club and its founder, Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy, together with the Norwegian charity Fritt Ukraine, purchased 30 DJI Mavic 3 Cine drones for the 45th Artillery Brigade. An important initiative was also taken by the president of the Norwegian football club Brann, Aslak Sverdrupyu. Aslak Sverdrupyu. Business Ombudsman of the Lviv City Council, Serhiy Kiral, agreed on cooperation between a Norwegian charity foundation and the Ruh football club. The local initiative of the Lviv Oblast People’s Self-Defense was responsible for the logistics and delivery of the drones from Norway. The drones were handed over in person with the participation of the Norwegian parliamentarian and head of the Fritt Ukraine charitable foundation Petro Frühlich, as well as the CEO of Ruh Ihor Dedyshyn, CEO of Ruh. In this current Russian-Ukrainian war, drones have become a necessary tool for the military, providing them with accurate and high-quality reconnaissance, making it easier to destroy enemy targets without approaching them.
“Sincere congratulations” from Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy and the Ruh
An important part of this cooperation is the messages to the enemies sent from the “45” in the form of “fiery greetings” from the Ruh football club and Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy, calling on the Russian occupiers to “die” and “burn in hell.”
These messages will continue to be sent to enemy territory until the last occupier leaves our land.
