FC Rukh Academy finishes the 2024/25 Ukrainian Youth Football League season with an incredible result – three sets of awards in three age categories. The club’s founder Hryhorii Kozlovskyy shared his impressions and congratulated the players and coaches on their outstanding achievements.

– “It was a tense, emotional and, without exaggeration, triumphant year for our Academy,” said Hryhorii Kozlovskyy, “For the first time in history, we won three sets of medals at the national level. This achievement is not just a number, it is a marker of consistency, trust and quality in the training of future champions.

Special congratulations were given to the players born in 2010, who, under the leadership of Nazar Savytskyi, became champions of Ukraine in the U-15 age category.

– The guys have demonstrated real character,” Kozlovskyy emphasized. “After winning the Winter Cup, they consolidated their success among their peers. This generation is already showing what it means to be a part of the ‘yellow and black’ family. You are the future of Rukh, and this future is already knocking on the door of the first team.

No less impressive results were shown by the team born in 2008, which won silver medals in the U-17 age category. Some of the players in this squad have already been involved in the U-19 team’s matches, and some made their debut in the Rukh’s main squad in the UPL.

– This year’s class is special. They are making their way from the academy to adult football, and the club fully believes in their potential,” emphasized the club president.

The debutants, the team born in 2011, which only started competing in the national competition this season, also won their first bronze medals. Under the guidance of Oleg Legan and Andriy Gordey, the guys showed a high level and great prospects.

Hryhorii Kozlovskyy also noted the team born in 2009, which stopped one step short of the semifinals in a difficult match against Shakhtar U-16.

– You deserved to win, but arbitration played its part. I am sure that you will correct this injustice next season.
