Lviv philanthropist, founder of the Ruh football club and Emily Resort hotel and leisure complex, Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy, has announced a UAH 2,000,000 New Year’s donation to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The charitable contribution, formed as a result of the New Year’s Eve program on December 31 at Emily Resort, has been the basis of the annual campaign to support the army for the third year in a row.

“For us, this is not a one-time initiative, but a principle. Do not forget. Do not get used to the war. Do not turn away. And to start every holiday with gratitude to those who make it possible for us to live, work and dream in Ukraine,” emphasized Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy.

Specific assistance for the 45th Artillery Brigade

The funds raised from the New Year’s program have already been used to purchase equipment for the 45th Separate Artillery Brigade:

• 2 UAV ground control stations
• additional equipment for unmanned systems
• a lavet for the transportation of heavy equipment
• rechargeable batteries and charging stations
• 5 sets of tires for automotive equipment
• 13 guns to destroy enemy drones

This list is an example of targeted and systematic support that directly enhances the combat capability of units on the front line.

A tradition that has been going on for years

Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy’s New Year’s charity has a consistent history. Last year, following the results of the 2025 celebration at Emily Resort, the company donated UAH 2 million to the needs of medicine. The support was received by:

• Lviv Regional Hospital for War Veterans and the Repressed named after Yuriy Lypa
• ENT Center for Children’s Medicine and Okhmatdyt Hospital

Each of the institutions received UAH 1 million to improve the conditions of medical services.

“We cannot stand aside”

Mr Kozlovskyy emphasizes that the war obliges business and society to act responsibly: “Unfortunately, the war continues, and we cannot stand aside. Our task is to support the army, to help those who are fighting for our future, and to help those for whom we are doing it – our children.”

Reliable rear shoulder

The philanthropist also emphasized the critical role of the rear for the front: “It is important for our defenders in the hottest spots to feel a reliable shoulder to stand on. We do not stop for a moment and do our best to strengthen the front with the necessary equipment – from special vehicles to drones. It is systemic support that brings our common victory closer.
