Who is Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy?

  • Ukrainian businessman, philanthropist and volunteer, a native of the village of Horodyslavychi (Lviv region).
  • He graduated from the Lviv Institute of Trade and Economics, specializing in Accounting and Business Analysis.
  • Owner of popular establishments: “Grand Hotel, Svyatoslav hotel and restaurant complex, 36Po restaurant with live sharks, and the founder of the 5-star Emily Resort hotel complex.
  • Honorary President of FC Ruh (Lviv), actively supports the club’s youth and adult teams.
  • Volunteer: Since the beginning of the war, he has been helping the Armed Forces, IDPs and hospitals.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy has been actively involved in volunteer work. In 2022, he founded the Domivka Charitable Foundation, which provides humanitarian aid to victims of the Russian-Ukrainian war. On the basis of FC Ruh, he set up a headquarters to provide assistance to internally displaced persons. Since the first days of the war, it has been helping the Armed Forces of Ukraine, medical institutions, and allocating funds for the rehabilitation of soldiers.

Helping the Army: millions of hryvnias and thousands of drones to defeat Russian evil

Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy’s charitable organization Movement into the Future has transferred over UAH 100 million to various military units. The philanthropist especially supports the 45th separate artillery brigade, a rocket and artillery unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which is stationed in Lviv region.

Last year, Ukrainian soldiers at the front received more than 1000 drones of various types worth over UAH 4 million. The funds were raised by Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy and his team as part of the Birds of Victory initiative under the auspices of the Lviv Regional Military Association. As part of the project, 43 charity auctions were held, at which more than 1000 lots were sold.

Soldiers in the trenches should know that we are not sitting idly by in the rear

The philanthropist received the Golden Lion award from the commander of the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade, Ivan Holishevsky, for his active assistance to the military. Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy also received awards from other units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, and the General Staff.

Thanks to the patron’s support, the defenders are constantly receiving cars, radios, artillery tablets, generators, stoves and much more to meet their needs at the front.

At the beginning of 2025, the businessman had already donated UAH 2 million to support the military through the Come Back Alive Foundation. The charitable contribution was made from the profits from the New Year’s celebrations at the Emily Resort hotel and leisure complex.

“No matter how big or small your help is, it will be equally valuable. Soldiers in the trenches should know that we are not sitting idly by in the rear. We have to work to provide our defenders with more strength in the form of equipment and machinery they need. In this way, we help them to bring closer the day of our victory over Russian evil,” said philanthropist Hrigory Kozlovskyy.

Supporting medical institutions: when hatred for the enemy has no limits

Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy constantly supports medical institutions in the country and provides them with the necessary equipment. In particular, the philanthropist allocated UAH 2 million for the purchase of modern cardiac surgery equipment for the Unbroken National Rehabilitation Center in Lviv. This allowed for minimally invasive surgeries for military and civilians affected by the war.

Another UAH 2 million – the proceeds from the New Year’s Eve 2025 celebration at Emily Resort – was equally divided between the Yuriy Lypa Lviv Regional Hospital for War Veterans and Repressed in Lviv and the Center for Pediatric Medicine at Okhmatdyt Hospital. This assistance was aimed at improving the conditions for the provision of medical services.

The business response to the aggression of an inadequate neighbor is to help the victims and support our army

Also, philanthropist Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy and the Emily Resort recreation complex transferred UAH 2 million to restore the Okhmatdyt Children’s Hospital in Kyiv after the Russian missile attack on July 8 last year.

“When hatred knows no bounds, the response of Ukrainian business to the aggression of our inadequate neighbor is to help the victims and support our army. Unfortunately, cynical criminals are deliberately targeting civilians and medical facilities. Therefore, we cannot stand aside,” says businessman Hrihoriy Kozlovskyy.

Sports development: to raise new champions of Ukraine

Hryhoriy Kozlovsky calls FC Ruh one of the most valuable things he has done in his life. He has been financially supporting it for 16 years in a row.

The businessman also opened the Football Academy, which has a sports complex on the outskirts of Lviv near Vynnyky Lake. It includes eight training fields: three with artificial turf, five with hybrid turf, and a gym. The academy has no analogues in Ukraine. Its students are provided with equipment, a balanced diet and other necessary things. In particular, after the full-scale invasion, 350 students were unable to return home due to the occupation of some cities. The Academy took them under its care and provided them with everything they needed.

I am pleased to see how little boys grow into future stars of big sports

Last April, young Ruh players entered the Ukrainian Book of Records – 113 boys simultaneously kicked the ball with their heads within the allotted time.

“Ruh Football Club is my most intuitive investment, multiplied by my love for my hometown and football. It is a great pleasure to watch the future stars of big sports grow up from little boys. Our players show a strong and high-quality game every time, setting records,” says Hrigory Kozlovskyy.

Rehabilitation of defenders: to ensure a comfortable return to peaceful life

In the first year of the full-scale war, philanthropist Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy purchased a 4 million UAH anesthesia and breathing apparatus and a neurosurgical microscope for the Lviv Military Hospital. At that time, most of the defenders were undergoing treatment and rehabilitation there.

Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy also supported the Above All project for the rehabilitation of Ukrainian soldiers. It was implemented on the territory of the FC Ruh Academy and the Emily Resort hotel complex in Vynnyky, Lviv Oblast. Wounded military and civilians were provided with free accommodation and rehabilitation.

The businessman personally supervised the rehabilitation of the wounded Azov regiment soldier Krzysztof Mushak. He had a severe leg injury and damaged nerves. An individual treatment program was developed for Krzysztof.

We strive to provide fighters with quality rehabilitation after returning to civilian life

Last year, philanthropist Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy and the Emily Resort complex donated UAH 2 million for prosthetics at the Superhumans Center. The same amount was donated by the founder of the Movement and president of the Water Polo Federation of Ukraine Oleksandr Svishchov to the Charitable Organization “Unbreakable” Charitable Foundation for prosthetics for Ukrainian soldiers.

“Thousands of soldiers return to civilian life without an adaptation period. After experiencing horrors, with broken psyches and nightmares, they are unable to continue their normal lives. We want to provide them with quality rehabilitation – a set of measures to restore their physical and spiritual health,” said Hrigory Kozlovskyy.

Support for the native village: Realizing his mother’s dream

In September 2024, a modern medical center and a branch of the ASC were opened in his native village of Horodyslavychi, Pustomyty district, Lviv region, thanks to the support of Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy. At the medical center, local residents can receive the necessary assistance free of charge. It is multifunctional, with outpatient and inpatient departments. It is equipped with modern equipment and is supplied with the necessary medicines.

I grew up in Horodyslavychi, my grandparents raised me there. It’s a place I want to return to.

Local residents say that thanks to their fellow countryman, they have street lighting, the Internet, repaired roads, and a restored People’s House and library. Horodyslavychi is also actively implementing a project to provide housing for large families.

“I grew up in Horodyslavychi, where my grandparents raised me. This is the place where I want to return. The idea to create a medical center belongs to my mother. When she was alive, she dreamed of renovating her native village. I hope my mother is happy in heaven. It’s a pity we couldn’t do it during her lifetime,” added Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy.

Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy proves that loving Ukraine means not only talking about it, but acting on it. Supporting the army, medicine, sports and social initiatives are his personal contribution to Ukraine’s victory.

“Each of us can make a contribution to Ukraine’s victory,” said philanthropist Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy.
