The founder of the Rukh football club, Lviv philanthropist and volunteer Hryhoriy Kozlovsky was awarded an honorary award by the 45th Separate Artillery Brigade named after General Myron Tarnavsky. The commemorative award “For Assistance” was presented to him by Brigade Commander Oleh Faidyuk for his constant support of the Ukrainian army.

The “For Assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine” award is for systematic assistance to the army

The commander of the 45th Air Assault Brigade, Oleh Faidiuk, emphasized that the contribution of every Ukrainian to support the Armed Forces is extremely important, especially in the context of a long war.

“It is impossible to overstate the contribution of people who constantly help the Armed Forces. Every donation matters. I am honored to award Hryhoriy Kozlovsky with our brigade’s honorary award “For Assistance”. The entire personnel of the 45th Brigade is sincerely grateful for his contribution to the defense capability of our unit and the Armed Forces of Ukraine as a whole,” said Oleh Faidyuk.

Hryhoriy Kozlovsky: “Supporting the Armed Forces is everyone’s duty”

In turn, the founder of FC Rukh emphasized that he would help the Ukrainian army as long as necessary.

“I want to live in a peaceful country and not need military awards. But as long as the war is on, we have to support our defenders. We cannot relax. Only through joint efforts can we bring Ukraine’s victory closer,” emphasized Kozlovsky.

He also called on businessmen, entrepreneurs and all citizens not to reduce their support for the army even in difficult economic conditions.

UAH 2 million for the 45th Artillery Brigade from Kozlovsky and Emily Resort

On the eve of the New Year Grigory Kozlovsky and Emily Resort transferred UAH 2 million for the needs of the 45th separate artillery brigade. This amount became part of the of the annual charity initiativewhich has been implemented for the third year in a row.

The funds were raised as part of a New Year’s program held on December 31 at Emily Resort.

What equipment did the soldiers of the 45th Brigade receive?

The charitable contribution was used to purchase the necessary technical equipment for the military, including:

• two ground control stations for UAVs;
• additional equipment for unmanned systems;
• a lavet for the transportation of heavy machinery;
• rechargeable batteries and charging stations;
• five sets of tires for automotive vehicles;
• 13 guns to destroy enemy drones.

Systematic assistance to the 45th Artillery Brigade

FC Rukh and its founder, Hryhoriy Kozlovsky, have long been cooperating with the 45th Separate Artillery Brigade, a rocket and artillery unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine established in 2014 in Lviv Oblast.

In previous years, thanks to the patron’s support, we have sent some to the front:

• tire fitting equipment and compressors;
• tools and batteries;
• equipment for wheel balancing;
• chipping hammers and other equipment;
• LED panels, touch tables, multi-touch panels;
• powerful laptops for combat units.

On the occasion of the Independence Day of Ukraine, the soldiers of the 45th Air Assault Brigade received 10 “Zozulka” anti-lancet systemsas well as household equipment with a total value of almost 1.5 million hryvnias..

Hryhoriy Kozlovsky emphasized that he is constantly in touch with the military and responds promptly to their requests, as he understands the real needs of the frontline.

Recognition at the national level and an award from Zaluzhny

In 2024, Hryhorii Kozlovskyi’s assistance and volunteer work was already recognized with a separate award the award “For Assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine” on behalf of Valeriy Zaluzhnyi..

In addition, the founder of FC Rukh has already received the highest state award for civilians for charitable assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine – in May 2022, he received the “Badge of Honor” of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
