A new coach and pitches like Ajax’s: Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy is preparing a football revolution in Lviv

The founder of FC Ruh, Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy, kicked off the team’s preparations for the 2025/26 season by gathering the players after the holidays. On Monday, June 23, he personally introduced the new head coach Ivan Fedyk and his staff to the players, after which the team immediately went to the first training session under the new coach.

A new start with Ivan Fedyk

After the vacation, the Ruh players gathered at their base, where they had an important meeting. Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy officially introduced the team to the new head coach Ivan Fedyk, who had already led the Yellow and Blacks before.

After the introductions, the players immediately got to work. The first training session began with an activation in the gym, and then the team moved to the field, where they followed the instructions of the new coaching staff. This was the start of the summer training camp.

Next Saturday, June 28, Ruh will face its first test under Ivan Fedyk’s leadership – a control match against Agribusiness.

“We set ourselves ambitious goals, and to achieve them, we need decisive steps and professionals who live for football. Ivan Fedyk is exactly such a specialist. He is well acquainted with the club’s philosophy, and I believe that together with him the team will reach new heights. Our task is not just to play football, but also to build a system that will produce results for years to come,” said Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy.

Large-scale plans: Academy as a step into the future of world football

In parallel with the changes in the main team, Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy announced unprecedented plans to develop the club’s infrastructure. It is about building a new, even more modern Ruh Football Academy, which should surpass even the current one, which has already gained recognition in Ukraine and Europe.

  • Innovations and “space” technologies. The plans call for the construction of a complex for 960 pupils with ultra-modern living and training conditions. The highlight of the project will be four new football fields with an innovative surface used by such European football giants as Ajax, PSV, and Werder. This coating has already been dubbed “space” for its exceptional characteristics.
  • Education of the European level. In addition to the sports component, great attention will be paid to education. A branch of the prestigious British School is planned to open on the territory of the new Academy. About 150 children will be able to study there in classes taught in English, which will give the Ruh pupils not only a sporting but also a linguistic and cultural advantage in their future careers.

Such steps demonstrate Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy’s comprehensive approach to the development of the club, where the education of a successful football player is inextricably linked to the formation of a well-rounded personality.
